Room to innovate
Chief Developer of the Tools team and the Scrummaster of the BMS team Stefan Nyman, who received a Golden X had some throughts to share on the new FX-3000-X.
“The FX-3000-X project had already started before I joined Fidelix, but soon we started designing a new generation of FX Editor that would support the new generation of PLC. Based on user feedback, we noticed that users need a familiar and reliable environment,” says Stefan.
“It was great that we were able to create a tool that meets these expectations. The goal was for the user to feel at home, and the editor has all the features of the old one – and more. The best part is that now we have a graphic editor that we know 100% and that is compatible with the devices of the future,” he continues.
Stefan emphasizes how important it was to constantly interact with the users in the project. “It was surprising how many ideas and wishes we got. This continuous feedback helps us to develop the product even better. The user experience is at the heart of everything, and products must be developed in close cooperation with users – this is the path we will continue to follow in the future.”
Working at Fidelix has taught Stefan a lot about building automation, even though the field was new to him when he started. “Here, everyone has room to innovate and showcase their own expertise.”
